For original hand crafted quality, enter the craft marquee and see all the stalls wares beautifully displayed. Also, you can get your taste buds tingling with some home made produce, find cures for ailments, pick up some quality individual clothing or gifts for your friends and family
Country crafts
Thatching, Woodworking, Dry Stone Walling, Spinning Wool, Weaving and Fly Fishing are just some of the country skills you can see in action. Watch the skill of these craftsmen and women and have a go at the fly fishing with some expert tuition.
Animals and Birds
This year we will have even more animals and birds including:- Alpacas, Shire Horses, Miniature Shetlands, Ponies, Gun Dogs, Sheep, Goats, Chicken, Ducks, Owls, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Turkeys, Pheasant, Guinea Fowl, Tortoises. Don't miss the sheep shearing.
Country Activities
For those of you with a bit more energy why not try your hand at Archery, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Rock Climbing or Have-a-go Fly Fishing.
Trials Riding
If you're not feeling quite that energetic why not watch the expertise of our Trials Bike Riders as they negotiate various obstacles.
4x4 Driving
For those of you who are a bit more adventurous, this year you can be taken around our specially designed 4 x 4 off road track courtesy of the Wormhough Off Road Centre (wormhough.co.uk) for a 4 x 4 exhilarating experience. The 4 x 4 ‘s will be put through their paces whilst you get to find out just how well they can cope with an off road terrain. You may well find out that not all country skills are traditional.
Tractors
It wouldn't be a Country Fayre without tractors. We get a great variety of lovingly cared for tractors from the last few decades. You won’t mind getting stuck behind one of these beauties.
